Or it could mean that she has more magical power, meaning she’s capable of spells other unicorns simply couldn’t handle. Naturally, this means things few before her were even able to attempt, so between the inherent difficulty of these spells and not having many previous users of them to study from, it’s no surprise some of the harder ones occasionally go awry.
It’s also a lower res.
Yep, but it was ruined by some guy who kept popping up and shouting “Bazinga!”
Captain Picard got an extra hour in the ball pit?
The way I see it, having magic as her talent doesn’t necessarily mean she’s automatically good at casting/making spells correctly, but that all avenues of magic are open to her instead of specializing in one specific area. I see Trixie as an example of this where her talent seems to be magic as well, but specialized in in the school of illusion.
Twilight’s talent simply gave her more options and a larger pool of magic to work with, more so as an alicorn. Her personality though lends one to believe that she becomes frustrated easily when having difficulty casting spells she’s trying to learn or create.
I see the image above as a classic example of frustration leading to ‘throwing magic at the wall to see what sticks’.
@Jarkes
Yes. I could. See, the thing about Twilight is that she’s intelligent, to be sure, but she’s not as smart as she or Celestia or the writers think she is.
Twi’s spell success rate is alarmingly low for an Ascended Alicorn whose talent is magic. Almost makes one think she may have been Alicornicated prematurely.
You can tag it you know…
Jeez man it’s been a year.
BRILLIANT!
