Again, I wasn’t entirely serious about any shipping implications in what I said. Shipping of any kind should never be taken as such. I was just happy to see them interact and have a little screen-time together again.
 
Is it really that bad to point out that they don’t hate each other in canon?
 
Rarijack (And flutterdash Appledash, etc.) shippers do this for literally every little scene between AJ and Rare (and those other characters), but the second I have a little fun and observe something in the same manner (for FUN), in the case of Rare and Dash, I need to shut up?
 
I mean, there are several popular ships with way less to back them up, but obviously I need to, is that right?

Considering he’s likely going to try to use this moment as justification for a Raridash relationship later on (saying it proves they get along in canon, so can grow to be more than friends, yada yada), I’d say the answer’s yes.

So did rarity lose something in the well, and was dash helping her find it? Did Sweetiebelle fall in? Were they searching for Derpy. There was probably good starting material for an episode there.
 
Either way it was some Rarity and Dash time for a change so I’m cool.
