At the risk of accidentally inciting a shitstorm, and also encouraging and engaging in this abrasive behavior via giving my attention here (as the description indicates this image was made in bad faith), what does this statement mean? I see it all over the internet and I never fully understood what “Trans Rights” is supposed to convey. It seems more like a statement people use to champion or signify their cause than a request, but perhaps someone knowledgeable with this sort of thing can help me to better understand.
 
Also what do ponies have to do with this? I don’t recall Twilight Sparkle or Fluttershy holding any thoughts on the matter, so why was this or the original made? I don’t think people appreciate ponies being used as mouthpieces, as well as irrelevant content uploaded to derpi when they’re here for cute ponies or porn.

Ah yes, I do enjoy the spectacle of watching a fandom that prided itself on going beyond traditional rules of masculinity by claiming watching MLP and liking it was that transgression be terrified at what otherwise might be considered their allies in rewriting social gender norms.
