FIM’s art style was a bit offputting at first, until I got used to it and saw its charms. I don’t see this art style as fatal. It’s far from terrible, very reminiscent of Littlest Pet Shop which was a decent show. Their musical choice in that one promo was unfortunate, but maybe that’s a one-off and doesn’t reflect on the show itself. They had a variety of musical styles in FIM, so we can still hope.

Excellent use of the “Was I good” meme though.
