In fact, originally Looney Tunes was supposedly aimed more at adults then kids.

I was sold at the SU writer, but the fact that we’re getting live-action writers (particularly a Parks & Rec writer) as well is really damn surprising and gives me hope that this’ll be a solid series

As a fan of Sunset’s Backstage Pass, Steven Universe, Craig of the Creek and Littlest Pet Shop (both 2012 and 2018), I think it’ll be awesome! And the writers for Teen Titans Go probably wrote for good series as well.

Never said that, you’re putting words in my mouth. I understand reusing stuff isn’t always good, I’m not an idiot.  
Just saying it’s not the worst thing ever, and in classic Disney’s case, it was still a rare occurrence, not something that happened all the time, so it’s not always worth getting so bent over.
 
And as already pointed out, the pony model body is reused constantly in MLP:FiM, and nobody here minds that. So even MLP is guilty of that.

I actually oddly like the reused animation. lol  
I know it’s cheap, but as you said they were having difficulties at the time, and I kinda find it fun to spot that.
 
Another one nobody notices is, the brief moment of Todd (The Fox and the Hound) being smacked by the bear, was reused for the final fight in “The Great Mouse Detective.”  
“Aristacats” also reuses some animation from “101 Dalmatians,” and the band from “Robin Hood.”

I don’t get why people like to point out the reused animation in Robin Hood. The Disney company was going through a difficult time after the death of Walt Disney and only really started to recover in the late 80’s when they eventually became the giant company they are now. Of course in a time of financial difficulties they would want to save as much money as possible.

What’s amusing about this is, first the meme has been proven wrong easily but the second thing is the meme is saying Pony Life uses the same art style as some very popular cartoons.
 
If this was an attempt at criticism it’s saying the opposite since this is the same style used by these shows supposedly.

1930s & 1940s, as well. The “bean toothy-vertical-line smile” is honestly nothing new, or exclusive to this decade.
 
Arguably, alot of classic characters like Mickey Mouse, Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales, and such even have that head shape.  
Heck, even I’m kinda guilty of that… (Points to cutesy Skunky avatar.)

Five hundred different fully-interchangeable 1960s-1970s hanna-barbera characters say “hey.”

As a kid, I actually had fun spotting reused animation like that.  
Not bashing, as I love those movies.
