So according to this the worst episodes are Non-Compete Clause and What About Discord?

9 has gone down a bit actually in the past month. I can’t say if it’s the hype surrounding the season dying down, or some more critical votes balancing things out, but the consensus on 9 seems to be…stabilising, for lack of a better word.

If I remember right, Mysterious Mare-Do-Well was one of (several) Rainbow Dash episodes where people felt she was ‘out-of-character’.

You absolutely shouldn’t put trust in any rating when it comes to your personal enjoyment of something. I’m just tired of a few people I know acting like season 9 and the series finale were objectively bad, and feeling like they have to convince people that enjoyed it that they really didn’t enjoy it. This chart is mainly to throw at those people, not people that hate it but don’t act like you insulted their religion if you liked it. I hate plenty of things that a lot of people like, so I won’t fault people for that by itself.

I don’t know. How does it take into account the ridiculous backlash of people who departed the show in earlier seasons and irrationally hate newer seasons without ever seeing them? You can rationalize it away any way you want, I suppose, but that would have only affected the first 2 seasons anyway. After that, no one cared anymore.

Well its all subjective majority I don’t put much trust in these sorts of ratings when it comes to personal enjoyment. You don’t really know who rates it what for what reasons  
Its just neat to see what the majority thought on average

Season 8’s ratings seem very harsh.
 
The Hearth’s Warming Club should be higher than 6.6

Confirms what I thought would be the case - objective quality didn’t slip, later seasons mostly got hate for subjective issues of opinion (which I suspect, but can’t prove, itself boils down mostly to early-season fans being salty about “Why did the writers write things I didn’t explicitly stamp my personal approval on REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!”)

Huh so season 6, 7, and 8 were the lowest. Not actually too low but the lowest points
