Description
Liebich-Anxys Marfys (13 December 988 – 30 September 1013) - was a Changeling fighter pilot who fought during Great Equestria War. A flying ace, he is noted for his aerial battles during the South Equestrian Campaign. All but seven of his 158 claimed victories were against the Royal Equestrian Air Force over South Equestria.
Marfys joined the Luftwaffe in 1008. At the age of 20, he participated in the Changeling-Olenian war, without notable success. As a result of poor discipline, he was transferred to Jagdgeschwader 17, which relocated to South Equestria in April 1012. Under the guidance of his new commander, Marfys quickly developed his abilities as a fighter pilot. For one single day, 1 September 1013, he claimed 17 Equestrian aircraft. For this he received the Knight’s Trident of the Iron Trident with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. A month later, Marfys was killed in a flying accident after his aircraft suffered an engine failure. Forced to abandon his fighter, Marfys struck its vertical stabiliser and was killed.
