Why? It is not like they are doing anything lewd on screen. There were also other canon couples in the show before like Big Mac and Sugarbelle or Maud and Mudbriar. With the later, Maud’s dialogue was eben kind of a G-rated version of dirty talk after Mudbriar got turned into stone.
It’s actually a very common trope at the series end of a show to do this nowadays.
