Well dang, it’s a brand new year! 2018 saw my bedframe collapse right at the end of the last year, which I think is the perfect metaphor for how it’s gone for me. Here’s hoping for a better 2019!

Out of curiosity, I looked at the first comic of 2018, and it was in the middle of the Elusive boss fight (>>2145734). If your response to that nugget of knowledge is “Wow, the Discord episode’s been going on for a really long time”… Buddy, you have no idea.

Applejack: <grrooooaan> Sorry, Ah’ve just been holdin’ that in for so dang long… Discord showed me every step of his plan in exchange for my “truth.” He said “Ponyville will become Discord’s capital, and its warped space will keep us away.”
Twilight Sparkle: Oh, so there it is. His masterstroke in the background. And that’s how we get a campaign.
Rainbow Dash: If he’s warping it with chaos, can’t we just rainbow-nuke it??
