At long last, an actual wolf has appeared in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! It’s about time!

We all know about the Timberwolves in the Everfree Forest, but we never got to see real wolves, fur and all. And then, at the very moment “She Talks to Angel” aired this weekend, there she was: A gray wolf named Sandra. After eight and a half blessed seasons, we finally got a wolf (not to mention an elephant) in MLP. Wolves are among my most favorite animals, and to finally see one on this glorious cartoon just brings joy to my heart.

I’ll admit Sandra is very beautiful. They did a great job in designing her. My only problem is that her eyes are black (which seems to be the preferable color for animals with dark brown eyes). Most wolves have amber eyes, especially the species Sandra is supposed to be apparently. Either way, I’m so glad that this was finally done after almost a whole decade. Now that we finally have a wolf, I plan on making more vectors of the ancestors of our first best friends. I actually got started on a few. And what’s more, I plan on making a scene featuring a pack of wolves, each one with different patterns; some gray, others rusty, some pure white, and others black from head to tail. This is gonna be great.
