And that’s the end of FiD’s ninth arc, The Last Roundup! These usually end on a 10, but the pacing didn’t quite work out that way, so it ends on a 5 this time.

What’s next? Another excursion into an IDW comic mini-arc, which gives people plenty of time to submit guest comics so that there’s content enough for me to take a brief sabbatical. And then we’ll return with… at time of writing, I’m not 100% sure myself. Who gets their ticket next? Pinkie Pie? Fluttershy? Or will Rainbow Dash finally actually get hers? We’ll see next time!

Rarity: Now hold on! That’s all well and good, but what about us?!
Pinkie Pie: What ABOUT us? We’re having the time of our lives! Bonding!
DM: I was actually going to assume that the gang would pick you all up on their way back to town. I mean, why wouldn’t they?
Pinkie Pie: Because we got tired of waiting and made our own way back! And what an adventure that was! Or will be!
DM: I appreciate the setup for a mini-session, but you and I both know Rarity’s not suited for a survival adventure.
Rarity: Rarity is perfectly capable of basic survival skills. It’s just not her preference. She can handle whatever this desert can throw at her.
DM: Well… If you insist…
Pinkie Pie: Woohoo! This’ll be great!
Rarity: …Can’t believe I got played…
DM: Unfortunately, I don’t think I can make time for it this week. But someday, we’ll revisit that period with Pinkie Pie and Rarity in the desert.
Pinkie Pie: Sweet! It’ll be a Noodle Incident! I LOVE Noodle Incidents!
Rarity: I hate them. I hate this. I hate you.
