Out of the 3 she has the most justifiable reasons for being like that. And if there is an ounce of the word FAIRNESS
she ll get the same leniency as the others…
Sad, but true.

Chrysalis was clearly the most evil and unhinged of the group. She’s the one who egged them to keep being evil when they first got the bell. When you put the three together, it’s clear which of the three is the most dangerous to be left walking around.
How about no? It’s clearly perfect written by the user. No need for needless spite…
That’s one of the reasons why I didn’t care for the first three posts. I’m fine with all of Equestria and the allied nations showing up to help the Mane Six defeat the villain trio. (Though I do have my own unique spin of it that I do want to gush over about sometime.)
It does. I would use a different nickname or just go with Shimmer.
Twilight taunts Chrysalis with foiling the plan none of them knew about, the one with the clones. How in the world does she know? The whole point was neither she, nor her friends knew anything about Chrysalis’ plan. Twilight pulling this knowledge out of her hat shows too much the writer’s hoof.
The baconhair nickname also sounds too much like a fan nickname. Sure, it’s Discord saying it, but I think he can do better.

Cool.
I’ll keep that in mind.
The options Twilight gave the trio are fitting but I would go with keeping them together most of the time since they do share a bond. But they will be put under strict parole-like security, along with their magic disabled.

By fandom in-jokes and meta, do you mean the stuff regarding Sunset Shimmer? Regardless, it seems that fans can’t help themselves by giving canon characters the ability to notice some of the meta.
The alternate ending is rough around some edges I’ll admit but if some rewording ever gets worked in, this ending might sound more respectable.

Unfortunately the thread seems to be gone. :(

I like that. Though Tirek and Chrysalis would appear to be more confused and annoyed with Cozy revealing that feeling they had when working together with Twilight telling them to not feel embarrassed for having such feelings, and I think they would remain silent during the cheering.
Twilight smiled. “A wise decision.” “If you want me to be honest,” added Cozy. “Me, Chrysalis, and Tirek actually considered the feeling of giving and helping to be rather nice.” Tirek gave a sly grin and Chrysalis blushed and looked at her hooves.
“Well, then,” grinned Twilight. “I officially shall enroll you in the School of Friendship! I shall assign Starlight Glimmer to be your tutor as well as the new head of the school.”
Everyone applauded.
Celestia stepped forward, a small tear in her eye. “Congratulations, Twilight.” She said. “You have certainly proven that you are worthy of the title of Princess of Friendship.”
Twilight blushed and rubbed his eyes. “Thank you, Princess Celestia. And you know, I think I truly am ready to lead Equestria now.”
This was all Celestia wanted to hear. “My subjects!” She announced. “As of today, I step down as your ruler and hereby bequeath Twilight Sparkle to take my place on the throne.”
Loud cheers greeted this announcement. Even Cozy Glow, Tirek, and Chrysalis joined in, albeit with slight embarrassment.

That’s because I still haven’t said what punishments should’ve been given to each villain. Twilight would give the order for the princesses to take away Tirek and Chrysalis’s powers and to have them banished from Equestria. As for Cozy, she’ll be institutionalized in a psychiatric ward. It’s clear she needs her head on straight.

But the show did end with friendship. It ends with an international friendship that protects the Mane Six, and causes a three way rainbow.
@Smart Heart
So, we have Tirek who doesn’t want to but is cowed into surrendering. Upending Cozy’s reasoning to just doing it for “fun”, and Chrysalis is threatened into submission. And that’s the sign of friendship you want? Two cowed into submission and another they made dumber to force them to accept friendship. It’s so, so bad.
Please note, Starlight, Stygian, and the Changelings were different. Starlight was talked down and she was just bitter; she didn’t even view herself as “evil”. She viewed herself as someone who understood friendship and then was bitter towards Twilight for destroying her philosophy. Her plan was to destroy Twilight’s life but didn’t think it would effect anyone else beyond the Mane Six. Once she saw the result, she could be talked down.
The Changelings changed because Thorax changed and they saw things could be better. Chrysalis refused it.
Stygian was jealous and possessed, but he wasn’t “evil”. He was similar to Nightmare Moon - he needed a type of purification.
Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Chrysalis revelled in villainy. They saw themselves as villains. Knew they were evil. They didn’t care. Just like Sombra. Cozy even went through and was taught what friendship was and what it was like. She had a ton of people trying to be her friend. She didn’t care.
They weren’t reformed because they weren’t who the magic of friendship was for in the finale - it was bringing the philosophy together to show all of the friends the Mane Six had (and Flim and Flam), and how creating friends made them safer.
Most villains by choice were not given reformation chance, and Discord only got one because he could be useful.
Well, it is the grand finale of Friendship is Magic, and they did choose these three to be the main villains of said finale. The show be damned if it doesn’t end with friendship. Its not really a matter of opinion.

Exactly. His death/petrification is the only one I’d root for though.
I considered de-aging.
I usually don’t.
I realize. It doesn’t change, though, how some viewers could/would be upset that Grogar didn’t get reformed too. Of course, one could fix that by making him too powerful to be contained safely, so petrification was the only viable option at the moment.
What I meant was why not have Grogar be the only villain sticking to his guns?
Well, cheezedoodle is right, in that you could then ask “Why not reform Grogar??”
Best way would’ve been to give an outlook on possible reformation in the epilogue, that’s years after the battle. But that’s just me.
Why not Grogar?
You wouldn’t be surprised.

Take out the fandom in-jokes, some of the meta things… maybe it could work.
