I don’t think so, I think he had one of the other elements.
I thought Sandbar was the one though, or at least both of them.
Most likely given he is Captain of the Royal Guard, which is a high leadership position. Plus the fact with the Elements of Harmony, he was Twilight’s Element. Plus apparently in the Feats of Friendship Swift Foot calls him the leader of the Student 6, a bit that’s probably more just manipulation, but even still.
The others are in the scenes as well, but Twilight is the leader of the group, meaning that Gallus probably ended up in the same position among the Student 6.
Ahh ok now I see, her body covered him lol.
But fair enough, although the others were also in the other Mane 6 scenes too.
I was thinking more cmc-aged.
Where? I’m not seeing.
Although he does seem to be the only one with lines in the episode. But yeah, I guess it’s fitting though, going from an orphan with having nobody to becoming Captain of the Royal Guard with friends.
She probably was a toddler during the main time setting of the show.
Is Luster Dawn supposed to be younger or in the same age group as the Cake Twins? And would she have at least existed as a newborn during the main time setting of the show?
Edited
Eh? How can you tell it’s Captain? All the helmets look similar.
I’d imagine griffons make fine fighters too.

It’s her weird balding hair and nervous smile. No other ponies sport that weird hairstyle.
So do countless other ponies.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply under Twilight she adsorbed the other nations, just that there’s far more interactions between the various nations now, now that there’s more universal peace. There is a part of the E25 that shows that that factor all started from the school/student six + a few others. (Recall Chryssy’s words from the end of Summer Sun Setback)
What I meant is that from Masem’s description, it sounded as though her “uniting of the species” meant that she’s also managed to vastly expand Equestria’s borders. So that means not only is Gallus not Griffonstone King merely because there is no Griffonstone King, but there’s also no Dragon Lord, no Queen of the Hippogriffs/Seaquestria, no regent of YakYakistan, no King/Queen of the Changedling Hive - because all of those lands and their inhabitants are now essentially ruled by Canterlot.
But perhaps I was misreading/misinterpreting what Masem was saying.
What about Saddle Arabia?
And did I see any Saddle Arabians among the horde?
Also, the appearance of the map with regions such as the “Undiscovered West”, roads and landmasses that seemingly lead to nowhere suggests that there was supposed to be more lands that have not yet been portrayed. And if you looks far up north, you can scantly pick up the sight of a completely different landmass on the other side of the Northern Sea. We’ve only seen on hemisphere of the world. Whatever lies on the other side, I guess is up to our interpretations.
Give it time…
Such sentiments don’t just disappear, especially when push comes to shove.
Or maybe he only left because he has no family to want to go back for?
But what happened? Did all the Griffons move to somewhere nicer?
Why does that sound like “absorbed all the other independent nations and kingdoms into her realm”?
