The mane 6 were in their early 20s in the show’s main timeline. Given the Cake kids look around 20 here they would be in their 40s. Their parents in the main timeline were likely in their mid-late 40s. Having no age lines is actually accurate.

I’d say mid forties to mid fifties myself. I reckon they were at least in their mid twenties by the time twilight was coronated, so jump forward 20-25 years and there you go.
 
Fuck, this is both beautiful and hard to see. Beautiful because they got their happily ever afters…hard because our little ponies are all grown up and we might never see them again. :(

I agree. I understand they needed something to make them look older, but even without the lines I think it’s already obvious enough they’re older.
 
This is much better.

The lines are kinda overkill. Most of their moms didn’t even have ‘em, and they can’t be much older than their moms were before the skip. Now fuckin’ EVERYONE has ’em.

I mean they’re supposed to be like, 40-50 right? Now they look too young.

Overage with the lines I think.
