Also for the record I kind of understand Twilight’s status change here but I think most of us will probably still think she was cuter as her previous, smoll alicorn Twilight version. Not that it really matters.
We’re probably all going to still be making art of her previous version. Honestly to me she can be as powerful as the others or even stronger without having to grow into a big horse pony.

Nah, it was the worst thing they could have done, They lied and Twi is going to outlive her friends. The only good thing is that Celestia and Luna survive.
My god people are still arguing over whether or not it’s a good thing for this to happen. It’s the last god damn episode, can’t we just have a friendly nod to a spin off without people actually getting triggered?

Fans can’t decide what’s canon or not, that’s up to writers whims. But they can decide if they want to accept it as canon or not, that’s not up for argument.
