They offer interesting development at times but yes I recognize the books are not related to the series.  
So in relation to the film of the campemen timbertwi is legitimate and has not been contradicted since.  
(+ another passage I don’t know anymore or but sci-twi asks why flash likes it when it’s not reciprocal)  
to flash immer this is evoked in several passages:  
the musical episode of the mall, the film with the memory stone, the movie on the boat.  
End to end this allows to believe without seeing confirmation.

you say it for yourself. The show must have an end and they will do their own work, not things you want. Flash and sunset interact more than that and timber is with sci twi and they always love each other and continues. Actually what you say is dead. And the novel you mention is not a canon, is another kind of books that is not related, never really was, it is contradictory. Sci twi still had midnight sparkle inside but in the legend of everfree movie Sci twi has shown interest in Timber Spruce and midnight sparkle is gone forever. That is something that you don’t understand but bother what you obsess. what you say is just your opinion, nothing is unique. So however boulder media does friendship thing on these characters and they don’t hate anything. They’re gonna find a way to make timber and flask best friends permanently for good. what reason justifies going back to the scenario? (we have more time the series ends)  
what development for the characters? (I recall that the episodes without development are either forgettable, or source of incomprehension and therefore unpopularity by half of the fans.)
