You can despise shipping and/or romance, but respect other people’s ships.
 
And this comes from someone who asked people if they hate a certain character because of the ship they ship.

romance is a universal concept that can exist in real or fictional scenarios.
 
shipping is people obsessing over fictional characters having love interests with each other, ones that may not ever even happen, in spite of how little sense it makes.
 
I hate shipping.

In general the episode was more focused in friendship than shipping.  
Like at least showed rares also have interest in passing time with Spike instead Just the oposite.

Spabby was introtuced as an alternative for Sparity haters. And it is very cool. That episode is not very direct, it can be interpreted in multitude of ways. I am still going to ship Sparity though.

Tells the Mane 5 they each have their own purposes (except she doesn’t say Spike’s and he was right there, which got me thinking maybe they’ll finally talk about that in a future episode), so she goes to Cheese Sandwich to find it! You’ll find out the rest when you watch it! ;)

I haven’t watched the episode in full yet but this is true.
 
That’s why there are few canon ships, it’s so everybody can be happy.
 
And even for those who ship their oc’s with canon characters, they is nothing wrong imo for shipping your oc with an already paid character because you’re making a different story.
 
I bet there are alot more who ship their oc’s with an already shipped pony than we might think.
