March 13, 1986: In Spain, the Organic Law of Security Forces and Corps was enacted (Organic Law 2/1986) which unified the National Police Corps (CPN) and the Superior Police Corps (CSP) in the current National Police Corps (CNP).

This is the previous uniform along with the old emblem (on the right arm) of the National Police (CNP) introduced in 1989 until mid-2009 and since 2009 the 1989 uniformity of the National Police has been maintained but with the current updated emblem only for official representations, parades and galas (except for the female uniform for representations, parades and galas, the flat cap is replaced by a cap identical to the one used by the female uniform for representations of the Spanish Army, but dark blue and with the CNP shield in the center). This Uniform used a Dark Blue Flat Cap with the golden CNP shield in the center used for both Men (since 1989) and Women (until 2009), for the Winter Service Uniform it wears a dark blue jacket with white shirt, dark blue tie, the old CNP emblem on the right arm and a badge, but for the Summer Service Uniform, it only wears a white shirt but still retains the tie, badge and the old CNP emblem on the right arm.

13 de marzo de 1986: En España se promulgó la Ley Orgánica de Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad, (Ley Orgánica 2/1986) que unificaba los Cuerpos de Policía Nacional (CPN) y Cuerpo Superior de Policía (CSP) en el actual Cuerpo Nacional de Policía (CNP).

Este es el uniforme anterior junto con el antiguo emblema (del brazo derecho) de la Policia Nacional (CNP) introducido en 1989 hasta mediados del 2009 y desde 2009 se conserva la unifromidad de 1989 de la Policia Nacional pero con el actual emblema actualizado unicamente para representaciones, desfiles y galas oficiales (execpto para la uniformidad femenidad de representaciones, desfiles y galas solo sustituye la gorra de plato por un gorro identico a la usado por la uniformidad femenidad de representaciones del Ejercito de Tierra de España, pero de color azul oscuro y con el escudo de la CNP en el centro.). Esta Uniformidad usaba una Gorra de Plato Azul oscuro con el escudo de la CNP dorado en el centro usado tanto para Hombre (desde 1989) y para Mujeres (hasta 2009), para el Uniforme de servicio de invierno lleva una chaqueta azul oscuro con camisa blanca, corbata azul oscuro, el antiguo emblema de la CNP en el brazo derecho y una placa, pero para el uniforme de servicio de verano, solo lleva una camisa blanca pero aun conserva la corbata, la placa y el antiguo emblema de la CNP en el brazo derecho.
