As late as 2009 they were still using DOS-run computers that were very difficult to work with, a lot of really bad business practices, and not changing the business model as things were increasingly moving to online.

It is to be honest. A lot of the toys there were super expensive which did deter some people from shopping there.

I won’t lie; the fact that it lasted as long as it did is a goddamn miracle.
That seems like a good compromise.
I saw that - some stores are opening up in the holiday season. That’s bound to be a relief to the likes of Hasbro and Mattel, both of who got hurt by the the company’s closure.
