Aww, I agree with you.

To the majority of users scoring is discrete and relies upon the quality of a drawing. I don’t think that works. It’s just nice to cheer somebody up with an upvote because he wanted to share his feelings. This website is much more than an art storage. It’s a welcoming remedy for those who really want to share the joy of loving ponies. Your point helped me to understand that.
