I know you didn’t have any influence over her design. You’ve already told me about buying the art from the artist beforehand. (Unless you’re speaking generally for any people passing by here.)
 
The edit’s more of a grey color (similar to Zecora’s coat) but I think it looks much better now since her face and markings are easier to read now. I’d still probably ditch the jacket but overall, I’d probably use that design if she was my OC.
 
That being said, she’s not my OC and I respect your decisions on what you’re doing with her. I’m not going to think of you as stubborn for keeping her that way.

Again, I can understand your criticisms and where you are coming from, but like I told the other guy, I think that her design matches her perosnaility, and I myself am a fanof the more complex/busy designs.
 
Also keep in mind that I didn’t have any influence over their design, since this was a pre-made design made by the artist and I had no say on it.
 
And funny you mention her coat. One of my friends on discord made a little edit of it to see if the BP would have liked her more if she was “white” :P

Again, I do understand where ou and the other guy are coming from, but I am still keeping her design like this since I thought that it was a nice design.  
But I do appreciate the feed back of you and him, nice to hear what your thoughts on her are.

This is something that’s both constructive but also something I agree with. Her design is way too busy and complicated and uses way too many mismatched colors.
 
Had I tweaked the design, I would have made both eyes purple, given her a diamond shaped cutie/glyph mark, made the her a bit lighter (so to see her facial expressions better; I probably would have gone with a similar shade of blackish grey as the old school Changelings), and gotten rid of most of her clothing (especially the jacket).
 
I would have kept the necklace and the hair pieces as a compromise to show that she’s fun and comical. That way she can still have busy/complicated parts to the design but it’s not overtly complicated and you can still focus on one piece on her design.

For the thing on het flank, i would but I would not say it is as a cutie Mark (idk if this is a cm or not, since I didn’t make the design and the artist doesn’t add cutie marks to their ponies)
 
And I can understand what you mean about her design having a bit too much going on, but imo I think that the over the topness of her clothes makes her stand out more and works for her personality (also this is probably just me being biased, but I’m a big fan if oc designs that are “busy” or have a lot going o ).
 
 
Still, thanks for your feedback about the oc, and you have some good points about it, but I will be sticking to this design for now.

I do have some constructive criticism for you if you’re willing to listen. The character design is cute, but there’s a bit too much going on between the things in her mane and tail, the marks on her flank (is that all a cutie/glyph mark?) and the bracelets. I’d recommend toning it down just a little bit. And maybe limit the freckles to either the cheeks or between the eyes.
