You get no pity from me, Sombra. If you’d just taken the darn shot when Discord was lecturing the Mane Six right now you’d be assembling a harem of mares as new Alpha Stallion of Equestria rather than being swept up in a dustpan.

The writers try so hard to be darker and edgier each passing season

For me, this scene is largely uncalled for. Not only is it very graphic for a children’s show, there also wasn’t any reason to straight up murder Sombra. I hope they edit this scene and have it be censored because this is a insult to a character fans have wanted to see return.
 
This scene, in my opinion, ruins the whole episode because they kill off a awesome character in a very morbid fashion.

Yeah I THOUGHT that looked brutal for a split second when I watched this. SWEET CELESTIA ANIMATORS! I’m hoping this is just the beginning of the slightly-scarier-than-normal-might-scare-your-kids direction this final season is taking.  
Gotta up the ante for the ending, yknow?
