i wanted to put something like Nosferatu design wise and i like how they came out
 
why do they appear like this: i read from the wiki of Dracula that even if Dracula (for example) bits someone but does not continue the person become a vampire upon there natural death so perhaps some vampires bit some people but they stop for some reason and when that pony became old and passed they became vampires.
 
nature: there more animalistic-like in feeding and in attitude but they are intelligent like normal vampires but a bit more aggressive when angered which is why other creatures would not like to make them angry; they have emotions just like anypony else
 
appearance: they are pale and mostly old looking if they drink blood they will look young but still scary looking there teeth are a lot longer then normal vampires but their chins on the inside can hide them there hooves are over grown like this https://assets3.thrillist.com/v1/image/2671800/size/tmg-article_tall;jpeg_quality=20.jpg but sharper and they can be used as weapons by kicking they are a lot skinnier then normal vampires
 
bat form appearance: they look like this https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/mlp/images/d/d8/A_vampire_fruit_bat_stealing_an_apple_from_another_S4E7.png but brown in color and they drink blood while normal vampires look like this http://al-taiclub.com/images/fruits-bat-clipart-21.png same thing there brown in color but not as bad looking (not saying the other ones look bad but there just scary looking) they can open their mouth really wide too
 
feeding method: they drink blood like normal vampires but o me vampires could “suck” or how i like to put it more realistically they just “poke and lick” while these Nosferatu-like vampires scrape and lick like regular vampire bats do thanks to there rat like teeth; in bat form they drink blood of farm animals while both with bat or pony form they drink ponies blood (until the future were they have to drink artificial blood (if that exists) or go to a blood bank
 
transformation: they have the same powers as normal vampires but unlike them when it comes to transformation they feel more pain because there old and their bones can’t handle it; they do transform eventually but they can’t do it so often (i got the idea or (thought about it of why would that be the case and came with the reason why) from an equestria daily user named josecarlosmsoz12 so thank you to him/her
