Twilight’s singing voice is Rebecca Shoichet, Sunset Shimmer. And she sings for Sunset too.

Agreed. Tara’s the most high profile VA, and Ashleigh with Andrea get a lot of credit (and rightfully so) for doing two main characters’ voices.
 
But I can easily “see” Tara and Asheligh doing the voices behind their characters, and RD, Twi, nor AJ vary as much in their voices or expressions compared to Pinkie or Rarity. And I can still hear Pinkie’s voice in Fluttershy’s (despite the uniqueness of Pinkie’s voice, the variety Andrea has to employ in Pinkie’s voice, and the rapid-fire, tongue-tying nature of Pinkie’s lines. I think Andrea’s execution of Pinkie Pie is overlooked, because of the polarizing nature of the character herself.)
 
I never think about the VA behind Rarity though. Even when I try, I can’t connect Tabitha and Rarity. And Rarity has that Mid-Atlantic accent which Tara and Andrea don’t have to maintain (although, AJ’s accent has never been grating or seemed fake to me…can’t really say, I’m not from the western US.) Which Tabitha pulled off behind an in-character imitation of a Southern accent in Simple Ways…which was an in-character misgauge of AJ’s Western accent). And Rarity has a lot of variety in her emotions which calls on her voice to vary a lot within her character’s voice (perhaps first notably in A Dog and Pony Show. The bawling, the anger, the helplessness, the whining.) She easily has the best overall performance for a character (but just ahead of Pinkie Pie now that I think about it.)

Yes, I never loved Rarity’s singing voice, but I never knew/don’t know who does Rarity’s singing. I’m pretty sure Ashleigh does the singing for both AJ and Dash, and both are top notch. Even though a lot of actors in general have music experience for theater or drama, she does have Hey Ocean!, so she might be better at it for that. I don’t think Tara does singing for the show usually, and I don’t think Andrea does singing for both FS or PP. Not sure though. PP’s singing voice is a bit annoying, but her singing is spot on for the show.
