Since I forgot to post this when posting the art:

(Foxbeast said): This series was based off a dream I had several years ago. I don’t remember a lot of it now, but I do remember that Alicorn transformed ponies turned into demon monsters as their true forms and would eat their dragon partners to gain full power. Celestia was trying to convince Twilight to gain her true form by devouring Spike, at the time.

Given that in the original dream Celestia did this right in front of Twilight and Spike, I have to wonder what they were feeling as it happened.
