It happens. Some don’t have even a small amount of facial hair until they are in their 20’s while others grow a beard while they are still in school. Human biology is all over the place. Like how some start puberty at a ridiculously young age.

If anything, it’s the glasses that are missing, as Sunburst’s vision problems probably would have manifested several years before he hit puberty.
