The movie’s still in the concept phase, so I don’t think they’ve approached everybody for it yet.

Ernie shouldn’t be too hard to get back, (heck, he guest-starred as a pseudo Ghostbuster before in the “Super Mario Bros. Super Show” before) he seems like a good sport about the series with fans, and such.

On a side note it appears that Ernie Hudson has not been approached about any sequels. So that’s pretty much leaves only two of the original team assuming they were actually able to get Bill Murray to sign on

Yeah, they’ve had alot of issues over the years. The Ghostbusters video game for PS3/XBox/Wii/DS was considered the closest thing to a GB3.

The only other way I could think of is using special effects and stunt doubles to make them look younger.  
I do remember thinking to myself when the reboot was coming out that any Ghostbusters 3 at this point would pretty much be Ghostbusters the force awakens.also Harold Ramis unfortunate death was not the only thing stopping 3 from happening

Yeah, the team is kinda old now, and as I said Harold Ramis passed away sadly.
 
Still, most fans are kinda against a new team, but recasting the original characters, and rebooting them might not go down so well.
