Aww! It’s adorable! I want one.
For stains tougher than the Russian winter
@Dazril
@Dazril
Literally where is the argument. I was actively praising the designers for Wolfenstein for coming up with a weapon that so beautifully encapsulated the Nazi obsession with wunderwaffen and similar poor tactical or strategic design choices.
Edited
For your information, sir, the gun is indeed very front heavy, which is why the weapon was mainly used as a turret mounted weapon, and as a weapon used by the big meaty breed of animalstic armored behemoths known as Supersoldats. Only those with a suitible amount of strength could wield the weapon. Use this information as you must. On all accounts, i can agree that this is pretty much what youd get by slapping four mg-42’s together with a spinning barrel and giving it slightly more powerful ammunition. Good lord, i cant belive id spark up this much of an argument.
Yes, YES!!
Panjandrumonium.
@Dazril
Just deploy a bunch of panjandrums on a nazi shore and watch the pandemonium
Which already makes it better than the Schewer Gustav, a massive waste of steel that could only be moved by rail and was designed as the final answer to breaching static defenses in the age of dynamic defense.
That is exactly what it is. The Great Panjandrum, developed by the UK to blow a hole in the Nazis’ coastal defenses. Unfortunately, the rocket propulsion was something less than reliable. Instead of going toward the target, the giant bomb on wheels went where-the-fuck-ever. Usually on its side.
It never made it out of testing.
Sounds like something Orks would build
Looks like a rocket-propelled bomb on wheels.
What the hell is that even a picture of?
@Dazril
That was probably because “the aryan race does not make mistakes, and therefore does not need to test its ideas like the lesser races do”

I know, I was literally praising Wolfenstein for accurately capturing the pisspoor design philosophy they used with the gun.
@Background Human
Except the Nazis would decide to mass produce their obvious failures when the allies never went past prototyping.
To be fair, most of the players in World War II had some pretty dumb ideas.
Military research is all about finding the one idea out of a hundred that doesn’t suck, and then spamming the hell out of it.
Well what do you expect from a bunch of racist morons who not only actively denied science by dismissing relativity as “Jewish physics” but also made up a bunch of shit about the Jews, such as claiming their blood cells looked nothing like “aryan” blood cells
Honestly it looks too front heavy to be effective as anything but an emplaced weapon, you’re trading the portability of the M-42 for dubious gains. Frankly, the weapon looks like hell to fire and is over-engineered to hell and back, based primarily on the concept without regard to practicially.
It is, in other words, a quintessential Nazi weapon, much like the maus and ratte. I applaud the designers for coming up with it.
Aside from very clearly not being the thing in the picture, that, sir, is a fictional gun, or in other words, a thing that doesn’t exist.
@Dazril
It’s a thing from wolfenstein
You act like you’ve never heard of a phased plasma rifle in the 40 Watt range.
That is not a thing that exists.
If she does, itll likely be an MG-46, look it up.
Maybe it malfunctioned?
