Same tbh, I used to be a regular on mu and mlp a few years ago, not so much any more. There wasn’t a whole lot of new content but there were bits and pieces, a few new sketches here and there, I did a few drawings and we had a couple of greens, a little story about a magic parrotlet, and I saw you already found drunk peep hahaha!

Crap. Sorry I missed that. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I’ve been on 4chan in the last year, which sucks because I used to basically live on it. Don’t suppose you have some archive links handy for the birb threads you’re referencing? Anything new I haven’t seen there?
 
And yeah, that shit kept me functional. I was battling illness and I wound up in the hospital for a peritoneal abscess that nearly murdered me. Then went back in because the damned thing came back. Those months were spent wondering if my own body was going to self-destruct and if I’d ever be able to go back to work and live something resembling a normal life or if I was just going to continue losing weight and getting weaker and weaker until I died. And my work itself was miserable enough, what with a fucking harassing manager and a company that was breathing down all of our necks every time we so much as scratched our asses. /Birb/ was literally the only bright spot there, for a while. All of you helped keep me alive and sane. Things got better, eventually but damn, it was touch and go for a while. Thank you.

I was indeed the MOAM? fan, I was fucking ecstatic when you posted Evert 1 Pipkin and Shadowy Men shit! I remember everyone posting for the birb playlist hahaha! They were good times, all the better if it kept you together. Someone tried to revive the Bird threads last year but it didn’t last very long, only managed about one and a half threads worth. I drew a few more birds for it but there never was as many people into it as the first/second time/s around. C’est la vie.

And you’re That Guy! Kee-RIST, that’s awesome!. Were you the Man or Astroman fan? Hanging out with you guys in /Birb/ was pretty much the best thing that happened to me that summer. Man, you guys literally helped hold my soul together for what was one of the shittiest periods of my adult life so far!

Birb was the best general. It just clicked with me for some reason. Wrote plenty of shitty greens for Birb, never finished them. My life when writing crap greentext for Birb threads was equally shitty, and somehow it felt like an escape. But eventually everything wore me down, and my inspiration just died. I always meant to go back to it, but I never did.
