Yeah. Most clothes don’t really stop you from just whipping your naughty bits out wherever. So you can “do it” pretty much fully clothed, and some like to do it like that, as you’ve said. But most people would rather not have bodily fluids on their clothes.

Humans wearing clothes most of the time is definitely what makes seeing them nude as widely appealing as it is. So the opposite would seem to apply to other species, none of which wear clothes, unless said clothes were put on them by humans, in which case most will try to remove or even destroy the clothing.
