Well, I wouldn’t say that necessarily. I can see why people want to ship the two of them. It would also have something heartwarming, a second chance, so to speak. On the other hand, I think the statements in Legend of Everfree are quite clear. In my eyes the show characterizes Flash in too many drawers . Always the Nice Guy, but without real depth. While Sunset is much too extravagant in many things. It is not really well balanced, as it is designed to be entertaining rather than long-term. So it would be nice to experience something constant. Well, hope dies last. ;-)
Don’t misunderstand, but Oscar Wilde was homosexual after all and is therefore perhaps not the best source for statements between men and women. He was rather sceptical about his own marriage for various reasons. Not that I condemn this, and of course everything is to be seen in the context of a prudish Victorian age, but as much as I value him as an aesthete, I find some of his later statements at least controversial. ;-)
