Yeah, I feel like making humanized designs tends to be something of a tightrope act between making them look like good human designs on one end and making them clearly reminiscent of the original show designs on the other.

Ah I see, that pic looks slightly more Ratity-esque, in fact kinda reminds me of the Pirate Rarity from the movie. But this is sorta one of my issues with a variety of “realistic” humanizations, I feel like they lose too many definiing characteristics.

Is this even pony related? I mean I see it says it’s supposed to be Rarity, but it doesn’t look like anything defining her is here. Maybe the diamond on her hat but it at least could have matched her cutie mark.
