The Harmony Herd
 
Despite moving on and growing as individuals, the six elements of harmony never loose their close bond.  
They affectionately call themselves the Harmony herd tho officially they are known as The house of Harmony, the main branch of authority that came out of Twilight ascending to the throne.  
Princess Twilight of Magic, Lady Rarity of Generosity, Lady Rainbow Dash of Loyalty, Lady Applejack of Honesty, Lady Pinkie Pie of Laughter and Lady Fluttershy of Kindness are proud knights that still occasionally enter the front lines of defence for their home of Equestria.
 
In their general home life the six all have found their own paths but are still terribly close, just short of sharing beds the mares are as good as married, when visiting the castle any of them can be found snuggling up together, chatting, giving each other little pecks and being generally incredibly loving towards each other.  
With age the physical barrier between them became more and more thin, all of them being incredibly comfortable around each other and seeing the ‘herd’ as their found family and beloved home.
 
Tl;dr the mane 6 are not all romantically involved but they are as close as possible without romanticism between them.  
Twilights castle is a meeting spot for them all.  
I would call them all qpps but simply they are the best of friends.
