Description
Kimono and Cherry Blossom are two G3 ponies I loved. I wanted to do them in G4 style, but also do something different that used a lot of colours. I went with a watercolour-ish technique that I am not used to. I lost track of how many hours this took me.
There are differences in their build compared to Equestian ponies. That is done on purpose. Perhaps I will do other sets from other regions at a later date.
Ultimately, this is a project I could likely work on forever and never be totally done, but there comes a time when you just have to stop yourself and say “Nope. Done.”

The artist did a really good job.
I miss the G3 Asian ponies, especially Kimono. I wish they would come back.

I think so, I remember hearing about an old pony named kimono.
One of those was in g3?
