My thoughts exatcly, Impious.

I’m sorta immune to overexposure’s effects in regards to that. I can’t hate a character just because it pops up extremely often. But I can notice why others can. However, such hate can be a victim to overexposure too, and that’s when everything goes to hell’s eleventh circle.

It’s the same reason why I stopped giving a damn about Derpy, and reacted the least during the whole Yamino derpygate circlejerk. Overexposure is hell indeed. Luna’s fans pre-season 2 just ruined her for me for the longest time. And you know what? They’re starting to again. Luna’s a good supporting character with some meaningful, deep characterization and an important role to play behind the scenes. But stop forcing her down my throat and acting like she’s the best part of the show. Luna’s cool, but she’s not the goddamn main character.

Overexposure is hell to characters, isn’t it? There is, after all, a reason Woona managed to become a thing. Oh, well, I prefer the Canon Luna too, so…

@Jack being overshadowed by her older sister who she does just as much work as, then shunned by her own subjects after returning. I’d say she can be sad about that.

Princess Luna is awesome, both fanon and canon. As for fanon, it really just matters where you look.

I hate all the Lunas. I am so sick of her fans throwing her in everyone’s face like so much confetti and saying that her mere presence makes the show better.
