Yep! There’s lots of examples. If an animal looks very bright and colourful, but doesn’t have an obvious defense(horns, really really fast, that kind of thing) chances are you’ll not enjoy eating them.
Because it’s a theme in the animal kingdom that the more colorful you are, the more toxic you are.

Oh you really don’t want to nibble on ladybugs, their entire reason for being so pretty and colourful is to warn predators that they taste horrible!
Ladybug fell into a bowl of popcorn I had once without me noticing. GUESS WHO ATE IT THINKING IT WAS A KERNEL, Now I always pick one the kernels out SO IT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!!!
Never had bugs, myself, but now the beetle larvae sounds nice XD
I’ve had crickets (basically spiky chips) and fried beetle larvae (nice and chewy, tasted kind of like fried eggs)
True. Especially dry-roasted mealworms. Of course, I’ve yet to try them for myself.
