In my defense, I do actually try to make a story with porn instead of “And then they fucked” because of personal preference, but I’m not winning a Hugo Award any time soon, I’ll tell you that much.

yeah, porn doesn’t typically have a lot of plot development. it does give you a lot of practice at describing a scene, though.

Honestly, if I thought I could pull it off I’d write something with the Mean 6 as the main antagonists instead of Cozy, but everything I’ve ever written was porn, so I sincerely doubt I could.

if the clone didn’t have rarity’s fundamental trait of classiness, she would be a bubbly over the top attention whore bent on covering everything in gems. that’s what I’d have done.

Like redweasel said, it’s most likely the writers either ran out of time to come up with something and used Discorded Applejack as her personality because she’s basically irrelevant in the episode.  
Honestly, Liarjack is very easy, I personally would’ve gone for what she would be if they took out her hard working personality but kept her desire to get money and get shit done, so we’d get someone who half-asses the job and expects a reward immediately.  
Y’know, the actual opposite of Applejack.

I think they mostly just lacked the positive traits. Take away Twilight’s heart and compassion you get a Bond villain, take Rarity’s generosity and kindness you get a greedy s.o.b, and take Rainbow Dash’s loyalty and drive and you get a someone who can’t be bothered to do anything. I just think that, like the Pinkie Clones, they had all the POTENTIAL of learning and developing that real ponies have and, given enough time, they’d develop into balanced individuals. Maybe they’d be good, maybe they’d be bad, but they had the capacity for both :D
 
That was actually a lot of the inspiration behind this picture, that Mean Twilight survived and was taken in by the surviving Pinkie Clone who she initially would just use as a meal ticket but would actually warm up over time :D

the way I see it, they were all pretty awful ponies, courtesy of their creator, but they weren’t the opposite of the main 6, just really flawed copies of them. so mean dash got all of rainbow dash’s laziness, without any of her peppiness.
 
hard to say though, b/c I think the writers ran out of ideas after twilight, rainbow dash and pinkie, and just made the rest of the mean six the same as the discorded ones.
