I’m saying the problem is that every time after Dragonshy it seems that she forgets she has wings when she is scared or in a panic, and as soon as whatever happened has past she can fly just fine, if being in a panic affects her so she freezes up then she shouldn’t be okay right away.

Movie rule no. 585: If you’re falling from a high place, scream. Gasping with an open mouth will drop you to your doom. A hysterical scream is so annoying that someone or something will cut it short (if lucky) catching you.

How does one differentiate between “I forgot I had wings” and “my wings stopped working”?  
They both occur under the same circumstances, have the same effects, and have indistinguishable ranges of plausible visual cues.

All I can hear is the “Falling Theme” from Super Mario Bros. 3 after you beat the world boss.

You said the look on her face meant she forgot she had wings, but I don’t see why she couldn’t have just froze up in a panic then felt embarrassed about it afterwards.

How about the fact that gave us a good reason for her not to fly in a case like this in Dragonshy but after that she only forgets.

That was the case, that’s why she forgot. She’s Fluttershy, she makes mistakes under pressure. How hard it is to understand that?

I’m pretty sure getting sucked up into a tornado and being tossed about for a while would fuck up any pegasus. What makes you think Fluttershy of all ponies would be able to instantly recover from that?

She had no idea what things on the ground was like in the flashback in Cutie Mark Chronicles, I’d say she grew up in Cloudsdale or some other pegasus city alright.

We’ve seen two earth ponies can have a pegasus baby. Maybe Fluttershy comes from earth ponies.

The joke doesn’t work with Dragonshy showing her getting scared and that making her wings locking up then every time after it’s just that she forgot.

When she gets nervous, her wings lock up.  
Probably why she lives on the surface while Dash lives in her cloud mansion.

Well, it’s been established Fluttershy is a sucky pegasus. I mean, there’s a reason the Wonderbolts invited Dash and not her.
