I agree, I too am aware of the rumors of s10, what you may not know is that instead of it consisting episodes, it’ll consists specials, 5 to be exact, each 44 minutes (which almost a season length(except s3)), however there’s no guarantee of it happening.
Actually there never was an official announcement.
Just leaks about plans that might happen or not.
I’m not sure about that, Hasbro has officially announced that they will end the show in 2020, and begin G5 in late 2020.
And they haven’t implied that they might continue the series beyond season 9.
There is always the possibility of season 10+.
Plans can change and they have more than enough material for at least 12 seasons.
That would be a great surprise.

I have hope for that too, not much but it’s possible. We still have one season left and so far I’ve learned that this show is full of surprises.
