ehhh I’m going to have to agree with Flutterbutterbutt on this one. I don’t get the ship dislestia at all. It makes 0% sense but I guess I could see the appeal in it. Common sense or canon? no. They are 2 polar opposites and some may say the black and white thing where “opposites attract” but they are TO opposite. Those two characters are on completely different maturity levels and nothing kills a relationship faster than a maturity gap plus he’s already totally for fluttershy because she comes first in his life so I don’t really get why that’s still a ship because if you loved someone you would put them ahead of that person but he doesn’t and the show has proven this multiple times. Sorry to offend or anything but I am stating why I don’t see dislestia plus ever since the season 6 finale and the writer going against the apology scene with them (the one who wrote that episode) plus there hasn’t been any celestia discord centered episodes. I don’t get it honestly. He already said himself that fluttershy is his favorite mare. That why any other discord ship stumps me. At least in the “canon” department lol like the flim and flam relationships with their most common enemies and flutterbulk… that I really don’t get. They were friends in one episode.
Excluded! to flame and flame Applejack and Twilight Sparkle I saw My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Season 8 Episode 16 Friendship University! I’m just saying that if I were in the cartoon then I would punish those who bragged Twilight Sparkle because it’s hard.
Except for Sugar Belle x Mac, I ship all of these to at least some extent. Even Flam x Twilight has at least some charm to it (anyone ever heard of Music Man? The librarian and the con man? One of the best love stories in a musical).
