- Morgan is the second born to Igneous Rock Pie and Cloudy Quartz.
- Confident and brash, she is unlike any of her other siblings. (For the most part) but similar to each of them in her own way. (Well, besides Marble, she has nothing in common with her)
- A bit picky, Morgan will only farm for “pretty” rocks, and throws away the ugly ones; which gets on her parents nerves often. But Morganite doesnt care.
- She finds Maud boring, and until Limestone was born, Morgan never spent much time on the farm with her family and went off on her own, doing her own thing. She loves Limestone, and relates the most to her.
- Morganite was glad when Pinkie Pie moved to Ponyville; she hated how loud she was and how disruptive she could be. As for Marble, Morganite finds her to be a drag; and thinks Marble’s soft spoken shyness is annoying.
- Morganite feels she doesnt belong on the Rock Farm and thinks she deserves a better life than hauling stones all day. But at the same time, she has it easy on the Rock farm, and doesnt want to go out on her own to “take care of herself”.
- Limestone got most of her personality traits from Morgan; who was a bad influence on her from the start. But, Maud helped instill a positive work ethic into Limestone’s head.. so that helped.
Looking at the Pie siblings, I noticed a pattern. Quiet, brooding, greys, etc. (Minus Pinkie of course) so I thought of a pony that would be the opposite. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, she is bossy and arrogant and thinks shes “queen B”.
Design wise, I kept the grey theme, but I added in a greyish pink; to add a little bit of Pinkie Pie sisterly genetics in there.. So Pinkie isnt the only one with grey or purpleish colors. (She reminds me a bit of a short maned Emery Rose, but I dont mind lol I seem to like designs like this xD)
Her name is kept in the spirit of the Pie family. Themed after a mineral/gem and a human name. Maud and Pinkamena DIANE Pie, to MORGANite DOROTHY Pie.
Eventually Morgan will strike out on her own.. maybe after stashing some higher quality gemstones and making it big or something.. if she doesnt get kicked out first. xD
