@FurriesandFlurries
Isn’t that FiM fic thing just rumor?
Ah, that’s true.
I haven’t seen her writing tips.
Uhh, yeah, I mean who would do that? Hehehe…
I find Sunset just as detestable as Starlight
@Background Pony #1952
I don’t think someone has credibility to talk about media literacy in an objective manner when they:
*Have written and then continuously tried to deny writing pro-pedophila
*Deflects any sort of genuine criticism by denouncing their critics with misinformation or calling them “terfs”
*Made an absolutely cringe thread on “writing tips”
*Obsesses over characters they don’t like as if it’s crack cocaine
*Has the most obtuse view of the whole Sunset vs. Starlight debacle (seriously, Lily, we get it, you hate Starlight, just rewrite her story to your standards and move the hell on, and stop making Sunset look like the greatest thing since sliced bread while ignoring all her issues)
*Cannot be arsed to better moderate their Discord server as to not let minors into NSFW spaces.
@Ring Team
Yeah, that video made a lot of good points. And you have good points as well. The writers are teaching some of most horrible lessons to children.
@Ring Team
Starlight brainwash her former followers and the mane6. The Ponyville citizens were cause Trixie shenanigans.However I agree Starlight was terrible when sold out Trixie’s home. But despite that, Starlight bad actions were increasing cause Twilight was so benevolent as teacher.
@Background Pony #B14A
Now that you mentioned, I’ve discovered this video this morning. And I fully agree with everything he said about her. I haven’t watched it at the time because back then I wasn’t paying attention to the show. But after watching all the 9 seasons, yeah, I think this is conceptually absurd. And I love the analogy with the news at the end of the video.
I said it a couple of years ago, but I think we have to blame on the writers who splitted the audience this way. If you have a character that says “I have good intentions” before brainwashing Twilight’s friends, some random Ponyville ponies and manipulated who’s supposed to be her best friend out of spite, then your thoughts and words are proven to be lies.
Intentions mean nothing when your actions are consistently negative.
@bedrage
Oh, look, it’s yet another Starlight Glimmer hater looking for excuses to complain about her. Her redemption wasn’t crammed into the last second in the season 5 finale. It was done throughout the entirety of season 6, culminating in her completely redeeming herself in the season 6 finale. Had you actually bothered to pay attention to the actual show, you would’ve known that.
@Ring Team
Starlight wasn’t OP. Simply Twilight was tired of travel for each timeline meanwhile Starlight was fresh in each reset. Shewas only more clever than Twilight.
@Ring Team
The mane6 knew the Starlight plans, but she was so strong. So Twilight gave her a second chance, plus Twilight and her friends are “boneless” if the menace believe in friendship after all. +1 to Starlight mind.
Someone explained this by saying the key difference is that Cozy was LITERALLY IN THE SCHOOL OF FRIENDSHIP and yet still did all those horrible things, meanwhile Starlight was just a total dumbass and didn’t understand friendship or how to keep in communication with someone apparently.
@Background Pony #9EAC
Watch again the episode. The main6 and the young6 only wanted a sorry after Cozy being lectured cause her acts. However she didn’t say “I’m sorry”. She didn’t want the second chance, being so closely even the young6 could help her easily. However I was to the hilt with reformed villain. Stygian was the top of that.
@Starswirl
Starlight put Twilight up against the ropes after she made the threat about destroying the scroll and seeing that Starlight powers were so equal. Twilight valued even more Starlight as a strong ally than a pony that don’t know about friendship. And yeah, she being captured in Out town she could have suffered the same destiny as Cozy.
@Hakirayleigh
Neither did Discord and they helped him anyway. And really, how would Cozy accept any sort of second chance if she was never offered it? And I think that locking her up in a small empty metal cage was more then a mere grounding.
@Ring Team
Indeed, and that’s not even getting into all the things Discord did.
@Background Pony #9EAC
Not to mention that, despite getting a second chance, Starlight did horrible things in season 7, 8 and 9 that invalidates that second chance.
