This whole “G5 is just a rumor” reminds of what happened after “To Boldly Flee”.
 
Everyone was saying stuff like “Doug isn’t really ending Nostalgia Critic”, “the character can still be used for special occasions”, “he’s ending the show, but not ending the character”.
 
And lo and behold, “Demo Reel” was really the end for Nostalgia Critic (until “The Review Must go on”, but that’s beside the point).
 
It’s the same thing here. Season 9 is the very last season of the show, and that’s the fact. All the morons going “it’s just a rumor” are sticking their heads in the sand.

How did the discussion switch from wanting more EG in longer runtime to FiM S9 being the final season?!!!  
Why are y’all focusing more on the latter than the former?

I just want to talk how benificial it is to EG with longer runtime consistently rather than shorts and occasional specials…
