Description
This is it.
I often took the Moon for granted, as a sort of light to guide nighttime critters as they wander about. Rarely do I ever catch a glimpse of the Moon as I tend to doze off in my stable pen, but now that I had ran far away from them (they were also running away from some sort of impending disaster) as my got swallowed by a field of fire, I managed to reach some place where more humans live.
It consisted of several stables arranged in neat rows, lined against a road made of a toughened black sand. In front of them (and to my left) was a large structure where human foals used to gather to learn about things. But now it is also abandoned, as the humans have already fled to some distant safe haven, far away from here.
And now, I am all alone to witness what might be the last full moon of this world, as everything falls apart elsewhere. I guess I should get inside the building and look for food to pass the time away before the end.
I just hope that my luck would be a little better.
