That’s true and it’s also true there’s no evidence to the opposite.
the only times she’s been to Equestria is when she’s in a dire situation or needs help with a friendship problem. there is no evidence of her being homesick. all she does is drop by to visit. :P

With Twilight she already talks to her via the book. Celestia she really didn’t seem to care that much about her, if we’re going on the material. Maybe she just doesn’t like Equestria that much. If you notice the only times she went there is when she had to due to the circumstances at hand and the new special doesn’t seem any different. With Mirror Magic we saw that she doesn’t visit Equestria at all.
Nice copypaste from the other pic xD but you’re right, unless Twilight have spoken about Sunset to the rest of the Mane 6 off-screen, like Sunset did about Starlight. So, there wouldn’t be any reason to reintroduce her in Equestria.
When has that ever been stated or implied?
Is that not enough? Sunbutt and Starbutt were important ponies in her life, and she doesn’t get to see them as much as she should.
I think she said something in the EQG holiday special comic about not having the best relationship with her parents…
It’s pretty likely she’s an orphan.
I like to imagine she had favorite guards, and maybe castle staff she liked, and of course, Pony Joe.
