Some of my watchers may remember that I used to be a huge fanatic of MLP and I even devised ideas for a TV show adaptation of MLP… although when I got into Tokusatsu, I pretty much left the idea alone and it kind-of faded away until now, when Hasbro got the merchandising rights for Power Rangers… then it got revived, but I did forget many of the old concepts. I will post that TV show idea for MLP soon, but for now… I drew this image of one of the main characters for that, being Star Shine, the series’ equivalent to Rainbow Dash… if you don’t know, Star Shine is a G1 Rainbow Pony released in 1983-1984. I decided to give her Lightning Dust’s character traits and abilities, but I’m deciding on going with her French hair, being purple with a white stripe, to lessen the visual similarities with Rainbow Dash.
 
I did digitally edit the image so the colors and outlines are sharper… what do you guys think?
