I wonder if they realize that the only way it got away with this was because it didn’t devour conspicuous ponies with lots of ponies who would be searching for them. I mean, sure a single shrinking apple is hard to find, but do you really think it could evade a determined applejack?

these two, their parents didn’t even tell anyone that their foals just disappeared? yeesh. maybe they did tell everyone, and ponies assumed it was just more marketing for their book.
