I mean that it’s a situation where, in character, there isn’t any good middle ground where they’ll both by happy. That’s one of my examples for why that ship wouldn’t work out in the long term, since either one gets her wings clipped or the other is away from her friends for longer than is good for her.
Well in some fanfics in general, they have her move her cloud house to be above the house of whoever she gets paired up with. In others she sells her cloud house.
I’m referring to shipping them in general, not in the fic.
It’s been a long time since I read that part of the Silent Ponyville series but I’m sure they address it there.
It wouldn’t be that easy, since Dash is all about living free in the sky, while Shy is about living on the ground with her friends. No matter where they would live, one of both of them won’t be happy.
Well, I imagine Dash would live with Fluttershy. I don’t see why that would be a problem. It’s not like she has to stay in her house.
