there are other artists (limited as they may be) who use markers but NewYorkx & his retro nostalgic style really stands out from the lot, I think.

I do love that NewYorkx is one of the only artists still holding down the fort with old-school marker coloring.

I’m getting extremely tired of your constant negativity on featured images. If you don’t like a featured image, downvote it and move on with your life. If you keep derailing the comments by just complaining that the image doesn’t live up to whatever nonsense standards you have, I’m just gonna start banning you.
 
We like the image, we think that newyorkx3 is a good artist who’s shown good improvement, so we featured this. We really don’t care what your standards are.

It’s a matter of taste man, not an objective fact. Do I like his art? No, I don’t at all. Does that make it bad? Also no, both on an objective and technical level (it’s not perfect, but what ever is?). Same goes for your opinion; you’re entitled to it, but there’s no need to be such an ass about it.

Totally agree, despite being in a difficult situation, that has not prevented him from doing his beautiful art, and upload it for us, and he always continues no matter what happens, and for that he has well deserved our respect

And not to mention Newyorkx3 literally tries his best with limited markers (i think) but just as every artist i can’t draw for shit but beyond that it’s still his style he’s proud of it he never gave nor didn’t give up on his work he’s just either adapting to a new style or going old style but it don’t matter it’s the dude’s art and it’s why he’s my favorite artist

Besides, what I love the art of this guy, is that I see it and I know HE did it, because this is his style, and I love his retro style, if you don’t like it, it’s your problem, but this (at least for me), this is a good example excellent art.
