Yeah, pretty much. I’ve been watching a lot of Game Grumps Animated and I’ve always noticed that Danny takes on different forms. I also like to play with the idea that they have would Scorpan as a guest (portrayed as Dan Harmon) as well as other charcters.
I’m assuming Spike is Arin and Thorax is Danny? (And Pharynx can be Jon I guess.)
I just like the idea of them being two goofballs that make each other laugh and play video games.
